Bantu languages of Zone G

There are some 20-30 languages in Zone G, the largest of which are Swahili and Gogo.

Zone G languages are spoken over a wide area in eastern Africa, incl. southern Somalia, eastern Kenya, Tanzania, northern Mozambique, and the Comoro Islands. (This does not include the wide distribution of Swahili as a second language.)

(Note that materials relating to Swahili appear on a separate page.)
